Right to the Fight

In a world where fighting for what we believe in isn't accepted because we should all be nice to each other... I say that is absurd. War, politics and business, or religion if thats your thing...Keep the language reasonably clean...and duke it out! I'm a Conservative...unlike the Liberal sites everyone is welcome to post here.

Dear Google user,

We're getting rid of over 60 different privacy policies across Google and replacing them with one that's a lot shorter and easier to read. Our new policy covers multiple products and features, reflecting our desire to create one beautifully simple and intuitive experience across Google.

We believe this stuff matters, so please take a few minutes to read our updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at http://www.google.com/policies. These changes will take effect on March 1, 2012.

One policy, one Google experience
Easy to work across Google Tailored for you Easy to share and collaborate
Easy to work across Google

Our new policy reflects a single product experience that does what you need, when you want it to. Whether you're reading an email that reminds you to schedule a family get-together or finding a favorite video that you want to share, we want to ensure you can move across Gmail, Calendar, Search, YouTube, or whatever your life calls for with ease.

Tailored for you

If you're signed into Google, we can do things like suggest search queries – or tailor your search results – based on the interests you've expressed in Google+, Gmail, and YouTube. We'll better understand which version of Pink or Jaguar you're searching for and get you those results faster.

Easy to share and collaborate

When you post or create a document online, you often want others to see and contribute. By remembering the contact information of the people you want to share with, we make it easy for you to share in any Google product or service with minimal clicks and errors.

Protecting your privacy hasn't changed

Our goal is to provide you with as much transparency and choice as possible, through products like Google Dashboard and Ads Preferences Manager, alongside other tools. Our privacy principles remain unchanged. And we'll never sell your personal information or share it without your permission (other than rare circumstances like valid legal requests).

Got questions?
We've got answers.

Visit our FAQ at http://www.google.com/policies/faq to read more about the changes. (We figured our users might have a question or twenty-two.)

Notice of Change

Scott Brown Wins in Massachusetts!

The writing was on the wall on Nov. 3rd especially after seeing the New Jersey and Virginia results...Dorgan and Dodd knew they were gonners...Harry Reid and some others will soon be, as well!

Tonight was a triumph for the Independent voter in America (especially moderates and conservatives) since Republicans are only 12% of the voters in Massachusetts!

They sent a message in ultra-blue New Jersey, and now another in ultra-blue Massachusetts!

The message from the voters was so clear tonight...that Dems are now backing away from rumored threats to delay certification or possibly the seating of Senator-elect Scott Brown (R) in order to ram through "Health Care Reform" before he could be seated.

Special Election! Coakley vs Brown

"Special Election Day" in Massachusetts!

I'll check spelling with Attny. Gen. Martha Coakley (D)...since she has probably gotten 100,000 emails about how to properly spell the name of her home state.

Today's battle pits Coakley vs. State Senator Scott Brown (R) and who has run an excellent campaign in what would normally be an almost automatic win for Dems...to retain the seat held by the late Sen. Edward (Teddy) Kennedy for 47 years...Libertarian candidate Joseph L. Kennedy (no relation), is polling in the single digits.

Despite having every advantage in ultra-blue Massachusetts...Coakley has run an incredibly inept campaign...little surprise! As a result of Brown's strong effort - Independents which play a huge role in the state's electoral politics...there is an excellent chance that Sen. Brown could steal what all experts considered a safe Democratic seat.

Ramifications are huge...potentially resulting in Sen. Brown becoming the crucial 41st Republican vote in the U.S. Senate...enabling Senate Republicans to block most Democratic/Obama legislation via the "filibuster"...at very least forcing changes and restraint upon a Democratic majority in both houses...and control of the White House. He could also kill Democratic versions of Health Care Reform, which are not viewed favorably in Massachusetts which already has "universal coverage".

Outside forces have raced to line up and do battle in Massachusetts...one thing is clear...the Democrats have already lost in many ways. The time, resources and debate raging in the state were all unexpected and costly to the Democratic Party.

Tonight's outcome will be closely watched, for good reason...voters may be sending a huge message tonight nationally. Look for the voter turnout to be much higher than the 30% initially expected...possibly 45-50% which is quite uncommon. If Massachusetts' large block of Independent voters...which have provided the state with several Republican Governors...turns out and votes for Brown as they appear to be leaning...the Democrats could be shocked!

Looks for Dems to do everything possible to keep the seat...to win "by hook or by crook" if they are able.

Not being very well-versed in the state's political demographics...not easy to predict this one but Scott Brown could win this race by several points. He is the winner regardless of the outcome...Coakley may win...but if she does...it will only be by virtue of "machine politics" and huge Democratic advantages in the state.

After seeing Independent voters in ultra-blue New Jersey upset the huge advantages of Gov. Corzine (D)...I'm actually inclined to believe there will be a huge upset in Massachusetts tonight.

I think Scott Brown will win by 2-3%.

After a holiday and "move" induced absence...It is time to hop online again :-)

So nice to be mostly "unpacked"...as opposed to packing.

Al Gore: Polar ice may vanish in 5-7 years! (AP)

Al Gore is such a fraud that I don't understand how any human can possibly still believe a word that comes out of his mouth. NSIDC discovered it had under-estimated Arctic Ice by 500,000 sq. kms. (193,000 sq. mi.) back in Feb. Oops! Great authorities to base policy on. Their own data still shows it "increasing" on average from recent lows in 2006. It also shows it being close to the "mean".

The rapidly growing Antarctic Ice levels get ignored. Yet Yahoo News features a story a couple days back about a massive iceberg floating towards Australia this week (during the "Summit") they neglect to highlight the fact it broke off of Antactica, 10 years ago! How much closer do you think it got to Australia during the week of the "Climate Summit"?

That there are so many other frauds at the Conference in collusion with him goes to show how much they have entrenched themselves. Naturally in 5-7 or even 20 years when none of this proves to be true...there will be plenty of claims that their actions "saved" the the planet.

Nov. 3rd Election Follow-up

A Republican landslide in Virginia!

A Republican upset victory in New Jersey...overcoming the massive Democratic majority and huge spending by Mr. Corzine. (Personally I can't see why anyone would want the job...the state is a disaster.)

Conservative Party candidate Hoffman has dropped the possibility of a recount in the New York 23rd Congressional District special election. With only a few absentee ballots left to count...Democrat Bill Owens appears to have won the seat by a margin of about 3,000 votes. Hoffman has announced plans to run for the seat again in the Nov. 2010 election.

As a side note...the district will cease to exist after 2012 due to census re-apportionment.

Obama Troop Decision Finally????

Obama plans to finally make a decision regarding an expansion of U.S. forces in Afghanistan...supposedly to be announced after the Thanksgiving Holiday.

If U.S. Commanders think they may need more, they better ask now...at the rate Mr. Obama makes military decisions...if they want more men before his term is over, they should ask now!

Michelle Obama...

AP Photo
Looking glamorous in an elegant strapless gown by Indian-American designer Naeem Khan, Michelle Obama welcomed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Mrs. Gursharan Kaur to the White House Tuesday night and ushered in the Obama administration's first official state dinner.

My compliments to Mrs. Obama...I'm not a fan of her sense of style - generally speaking I don't think she looks very good and that her wardrobe is a disaster...but tonight for the Administration's first State Dinner she looked very stylish and classy. I think she looked great representing the nation as First Lady this evening.

Nov. 3rd Election Predictions...

My predictions on the elections later today:

McDonnell(R)will cruise to an easy victory over Dem. Deeds in Virginia

Hoffman(C) will win in the New York 23rd...in spite of the RINO endorsing the Dem.

Corzine(D) will squeek by in NJ...thanks to the 3-way race, millions of dollars spent by Corzine and a 700,000 Dem. majority in New Jersey. Christie should be happy to lose...New Jersey is a mess and no Republican should want the job. Christie will end up well positioned for a future Senate shot.

Atlanta electing a white mayor? Could actually happen!

Barry Obama Wins 2009 AL Cy Young Award

This just in...rookie pitcher Barry Obama wins the 2009 American League Cy Young Award...with one pitch thrown on the season!

He was totally unhittable in his only outing on the season...of course it was a pitch "out of the zone" and there was no batter ;-)

The 48 year old, Rookie "Leftie" is gonna have a hard time topping this one. Time to retire...

Obama Wins the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize???

Word out this morning...Obama has been awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize!

Who should be more embarrassed...Obama or the 5 members of the Nobel Committee???

Many are already defending the absurd selection as recognizing the "promise of peace"! I don't know about you all...but I have lost 99% of any respect I ever had for the award or the Nobel Prize Committee.

Even more absurd? The nomination deadline for the Nobel Peace Prize was Feb. 1, 2009 less than 2 weeks into Obama's Presidency!

Obama star power, winning out over substance...yet again! Pathetic!

Health Care Reform to cost $829 Billion? Ha..sure it will!

Does anyone really think that the smoke and mirrors estimate by the CBO that the Senate Finance Committee's Health Care Reform, version will really only cost $829 billion??

Nobody should...but since their version isn't going to be accepted by the Senate, or the House...we shouldn't even care...except to examine the corrupt way that the CBO and others score the bills!

DB

Obama...Ending the war in Afghanistan??

For a man who promised to end the war in Iraq and pursue the "real" war in Afghanistan...Obama seems terribly confused.

He is determined to walk run away from success in Iraq, and yet for all his talk about the importance of Afghanistan...he has boosted the numbers of troops there but seems determined to LOSE. He won't listen to his General on the ground there...who says we must increase troop levels if we wish to have success.

Is Obama determined to lose...without appearing to quit??? It sure looks like it.

Go Rio!

Congratulations to Rio on being awarded the 2016 Olympics!

As a native Chicagoan...I couldn't be more pleased! Most people here didn't want the Olympic Games...and we certainly don't trust Daley and his kronies...or Obama and his Jarret crew to not make out like bandits off of the games.

I hope they all lost some money :-)

I know that Daley and the Obama crew are embarrassed about being voted out on the first round!
